That's why I suggested crumble. If you get it wet it will become a mash like oatmeal and she will get all the nutrition from it as she slurps it up.

She’s losing her depth perception. We believe she can barely see out of one of her eyes and the other is worse. I think this may be a reason to why she can’t pick the food up properly..

She doesn’t have any signs of blindness. Her head goes up and down all the time and she can’t see where she’s walking, she tracks around the fence line.

I'd give her the extra calcium, see if she's able to expel any material.

With swelling of the abdomen, she may a symptom of Ascites (fluid in the abdomen), this is a Symptom of something else going on in the body. Most of the time in laying hens it's reproductive but can be organ dysfunction as well.

Try offering her a wet mash of poultry feed if she's having a hard time seeing. Sometimes a deeper dish helps as well.

We have bought some chick grower to crush up for her and mix with an antibiotic we also just bought so we are hoping maybe the antibiotics will do something.

If not, I’m still staying hopeful, I just don’t want her to be in pain that’s all.
