I have a rooster and in the last few days we have noticed that his comb has curled over, he seems like he is dizzy because he stumbles around likes its hard for him to walk, and he's really tired. He just kind of sits around and sleeps. I have seen him drink water today and he eats food. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can give him to make him get better?

Dani, How old is your Roo?
Is his comb bright red or purplish?
I dont know why his comb would curl over other than He might have an infection. Look at the comb closley and determine if it's bloody, puss or oozing. I had a Rooster that had frost bite on His comb and waddles. He nearly died but recovered. I had to hand feed him and give him water with a syringe. If I had not nursed him, he would have starved to death. I also took him to a Vet and The Vet suspected Avian Flu. (the blood work came back Negative)It was NOT AF and I almost had my entire Flock seized by the Health Dept. It was a nightmare.........although you really should take your Poor Roo to see a Vet if you want to save him. This sounds Very serious and I dont know what to tell you accept try a Vet...It cost little to nothing to have him checked out and If you can afford it, by all means take him ASAP......I have had my birds on Baytril from the Vet and it did wonders for their illness.
Let me know what you find out.

....and by the way, Baytrill is like $20 for a 14 day dosage. Heck we spend more than that @ Mc Donalds...........
