Hello,

I have come home today to 2 chickens having a bloody bum, one looks like she is hanging out a little bit - and also oozing pale yellow gunk, i'm actually scared of them so dont know what to do,

I have seperated the two hens from the others, will this help them? apart from stopping the others picking on them.

I'm not sure of what to do for them by what you have said. Could it be cocci? Do you have Sulmet on hand? Maybe someone will come along with more knowledge. Good luck and I would keep them separate until you find out what the problem is.

To be honest i only got them last sunday from a barn with 15000 in,

i don't know what cocci is, would it affect the eggs they are laying?
