I guess that means you aren't "sick" any more & can go back to work...lolDay 22- little guy is doing better, no more bleeding. I now have 13 chicks. I'll wait another couple days before I rule out the remaining 3.

I stayed up all night on the 20th day and all day on the 21. It's amazing how fast some pip and zip compared to others. I can't wait until my next hatching. Now the hard part- what to hatch next!I guess that means you aren't "sick" any more & can go back to work...lol
I'm working on my 3rd set of hatchlings for this round in the bator (staggered hatch). I already have 12 babies in the brooder, 1 my 2 broody hens hatched today & then tried to kill!!!Little witches...they went back to the coop babylessand the other 7 eggs went to the bator to finish hatching. 1 never developed, so I'm waiting on the other 6 to hatch, 2 are pipped & the others are all wiggling when candled. I can see them pushing on the membrane in the air cell, so won't be long. I have a Runner duck pipped & trying to hatch already & unless I miscalculated this is only day 25. My Call ducks are all rocking & today should be hatch day for them. I think they are running a bit late. Anyway, I doubt I will get much sleep tonight

My calls are actually due tomorrow so I'm keeping a close eye on them right now.

I had 1 Saxony make it out of the ducks & a Black East Indie going into lockdown today. I just put 3 more Pekins in 2 days ago. I think I'm going to just get ducklings from the girl I got the Calls from. Have to meet up with her this week to get some Cochins for a customer anyway.
