I would like to ask anyone .what do other chicken lovers do when you have a pet you love so much and see that it is suffering and you want to help but there is nothing else you can do. You can't get to a vet to help you end it's suffering. There is no way I can bring any more harm to it. If I could have had something to give it I would have instead of just sitting with them and watch it slowly die. I sat with her all night wishing there was something I could do.

I've had to end the suffering on a couple of mine. I used the exhaust from my car, could not bring myself to snap there necks as an old farmer told me to do.

A .22 bullet to the head is the quickest, easiest, non-painful way to cull. It never gets easier though.
