please help!!

soo, yesterday I cut my 14 week old chickens feathers off on her wing, and I guess I got over confident. I clipped the feathers too short and hit a blood feather. it started to bleed for about 5 minutes and then stopped. I cleaned it with water and threw flour on it. then I put her back in the coop and watched her for awhile. She was completley fine! Today I checked on her again and she was still okay. Is there anything else I should do for her?

Sounds like you did everything right! Just make sure it stays pretty clean and she'll heal right up!

Stupid question coming - why would you want her wings clipped?

Because she keeps flying out of her run. It doesnt have a top on it. She gets into all of the vegtables and poops everywhere. Just kind of annoying having to catch her every 10 minutes

Ahhh, gotcha. My runs have roofs to keep predators out. The only birds who need clipping around here are the budgies, but I won't even do that....
