Please I need advise.. 4 week old ameracuna chick missing in storm

I am so Sorry I didn't get back with everyone. The chick took some watered down syrup and then I stuck her in the brooder with some of my tiny hatches, she warmed up and started eating and drink with the chicks. Right after all that my 5 year old daughter was but to bed and was "swirling" around in bed and fell off and cut her head on the dresser or the bed she don't know what she hit but we had to end up at the emergency room, for stiches. EXCITING!! Then we get home around midnight, I get woke up at 3am to the chickens raising cain!! Look out side to see a fox chasing my 7 year old dominquer hen, I grabbed my shotgun and ran outside, it chased the chicken all the way down the drive which is a good 1/4mile long then gave up and headed back towards the barn, I was waiting standing in front of the truck and gave it some time before I stepped out when the fox was about 30 yards from me and shot, I hit him, but he ran off into the pasture., So as you can tell I had a heck of a night. Just wanted everyone to know I wasn't ignoring your advise. Thanks for all the help and support I think she is feeling better.

Now that the "season" of bad stuff is out of the way...hope all calms down and spring brings cheer & beauty into your chaos!! And hope the fox realizes chicken chasing at your place ain't worth it!!

Wow, busy night! I hope your daughter is feeling better. I remember my son's first stitches--not a fun day for any of us. Hopefully the darn fox won't be back and it sounds like the chick is doing better too.
