Please I need help quickly. Quail eggs won't fit into my quail rails!

How did you cut away the sides of that quail rack? What tools did you use? It looks partially melted. I have the same rack and I am expecting a batch of jumbo eggs soon so I want to be ready.

I used a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel to cut out as much as I could then used the Dremel with a small sanding stone to grind down anything remaining and smooth the edges. It took about 2 hours to do all 6 racks.

Hello, I ran across you post - what did you mean about notching the egg racks - are you just cutting the hole bigger?

I read a post some where that the American Pharaoh eggs from JMF was 13 to 16 grams; would the Texas A & M eggs be bigger?

Some of my JMF A&M eggs fit into the quail rails, some didn't. I had to use a combination of quail and chicken rails in my last batch to fit all the eggs.

havent seen it mentioned so I am going to mention it
you do know that quail eggs go in the rack small end down right?

I had to look at some eggs to think about how in the world they would be so big as to sit on top
and took some of my jumbo eggs and set them big end down in the hole and just as you decribed
unstable and when turned hit the other racks

even the biggest of eggs is still stable small end down
