Something is wrong with one of my hens. I have 3 RI reds, 8 1/2 mths. old. I haven't been outside since Monday cause I've been down w/the flu. Hubby has been feeding and gathering, says only thing he noticed was one of the girls had some "poop" stuck on her behind. He thinks its the same hen.(ugggg MEN) Now her behind is red and raw looking. Its the whole back side area under her tail. What is this and more importantly what can/should I do for her? She is acting,eating and drinking normally.
