I know that you stop turning the eggs and raise the humidity three days before they hatch but the thing is I don't know when this egg was laid so can you give me a when abouts I need to lockdown ASAP!!!

It doesn't matter when the egg was laid. What matters is when incubation started. With chicken eggs, lockdown is after 18 days of development after incubation started.

Some people get confused on how top count the days. An egg does not have 24 hours worth of development two seconds or two hours after it went into the incubator. It takes 24 hours for it to have a day's worth of development. When you are counting the days, 1 is the day after you started the eggs.

An easy way to confirm you are counting the days correctly is that the day of the week you started the egg is the day of the week it should hatch. If you started it on a Sunday, it should hatch on a Sunday.
