Hi again. I asked about this chicken I got at Atwoods here in Okla. this spring but she was too young to identify. Now that she is grown up, does anyone know what breed she might be? I got 3 red stars, a black star and a barred rock when I purchased her. Any ideas as to her breed would help me. Thanks!

Thank you so much! Surprised that I received her from Atwoods as I believe that is a rare bird to get in a batch from them. I saw a picture of a langshan and thought she resembled that pic a lot, so you confirmed my suspicions about that possibility. Again thanks so much! She is a very calm bird with a gentle disposition. I have 16 chickens and she is the only one that still isn't laying yet.

You're welcome. :) Langshans would be more slow to mature than your other breeds. She looks to be a month or so away.

Ok. I also noticed her comb is different than all the other birds too. Will it eventually get bigger?
Or is that unique to langshans?
