Goodmorning, can someone identify these brown layers? Are these production reds, golden comets, rhode island red-hybrids or an other type?
I am interested in buying but need to be sure what I am getting.

Oh great. So Golden Comet, Red Star, Cinnamon Queen and red sex link all means the same thing?
Thats what I wanted. Thanks

Red birds with white tips and tails are some type of sex link.

Red sex link is like a generic term, like ibuprofen. Red star, golden comet, cinnamon queen, etc are all different brand names from different hatcheries for basically the same thing--like Motrin, Advil, etc. Same basic make-up, different marketing terms.

Yes they are Red Sex Links but I wouldn't buy birds from a place that kept them like that. The coop looks absolutely filthy. I would be worried about the health of the birds, like them having lice or mites then transferring them to your coop.

Yeah good point. They do look filthy.
