DH is going this afternoon for his (now) monthly doppler exam on his leg. It's now been 5 months since he broke his leg working an accident and this whole nightmare with blood clots started.
Last month the blood clots were only 50% resolved, despite the fact that he's on 2 different blood thinners.
He's ready to go back to work, I'm ready for him to go back to work. Besides, it's getting harder and harder to live on workman's comp. checks.
Keep your fingers crossed that today's exam shows the blood clots completely gone and he can get a release to return to work.
TIA

No such luck. He's still got approx. 35% blockage in his thigh. We'll have to wait and see what the doctor says about it on the 16th; whether he'll let him go back to work with that much left or not.
The Chief (of police) was bugging DH about it the other day. He wants DH to ask the doc about going back to work on limited duty, at a desk job. Not sure how that would work, as DH has worked the streets for 28 years and is not real keen on being stuck in the office with the big wigs all day, but he's going to ask. At least it will get him out of the house.
Thanks for your support.
