I just got some of this for flies:

We use fly traps around here, they are throw away and come with fly bate and you just fill water, mix the bate, hang it up and sit back and watch. Eventually the thing gets so stinky with flies that it just becomes its own bate. It's really quite disgusting! I have also purchased one that was just a special lid and the lid fit on a used mayo jar then add and a chicken leg..... it might take a few rounds but you can really clear out an area......
I find when I smoke meat it really draws the flies too...... don't know why......
