Please look at my cochins feathers!

This cochin is 3.5 weeks old. Her feather colors are blowing me away! She is a blue cochin from MPC. They said the blue cochin will segregate 50% blue, 25% black and 25% splash. Is this a splash?? The pictures of splash cochins I have seen here do not look like this.

What would you call this color??

Wow! That is a Columbian Cochin. My friend raises them, and they always look like that!

Yep - I looks a lot like my little Columbians (I have 8 of them that are a month old right now!). I don't have any recent pictures, this one is a few weeks old - mine are very light and may not have "enough" black when they mature:

The colors come in very mottled and strange at first. Yours is interesting - so I'd be very interested in seeing an update when it's mature! Columbian is my FAVORITE color in Cochins! You're very lucky!
