I just had my first hatch last week and I was awake almost all night waiting for something to change. As soon as I went to bed, guess what, babies. A watched chick just hatches slower, I guess they are shy.

I am old enough to be a grandma and had never seen an egg hatch in real life, only in videos. It is SOOO amazing, I was truly mesmerized so I can understand your excitement.

Congrats!!! As long as their are either in a carton/turner small end down or laying on their sides, they will be just fine...

mine are in the process of hatching now I have one out and another breaking....when do I take the one out that is already hatched..and what temp do I make their new home?

Sit on your hands and let them be! They will hatch fine all by themselves. They will also be fine in that Brinsea for 24 hours after hatching too. All they'll do is sleep.
