Sorry for your loss. Is is possible to get a necropsy done on him where you live to find the cause of death? Could the hen you got by herself have been a carrier of something? I would look everyone over for any similar symptoms.

No necropsy available around here. I suspect my hen because my friend got hens off the same lady and they all died. But all my hens seem 100% fine
