I've got 2 AC with 3/4 Raven bloodline and just ordered some wheaten O Shamo eggs.

The Fibro hybrid is drop dead gorgeous!

that was a cross between my original fibro olive egger and a blue Ameracurana (sp). All his chicks were fibromelanistic, but he himself was not. It was strange. The other fibro olive egger rooster I posted is this guys son. He was a absolutely huge rooster. The Luege Fighter behind him was 31/32 inches tall and over 14lbs. I never got a height measure for the black one but he weighed 18lbs at one pointThe black one, is that an Ayam Cemani cross? Really cool with the beard and feathered legs!!!
I cant recommend any breed higher than the Liege Fighter, and I've had at least 25 breeds of chicken. They are by far the most intelligent I've had and the get very attached to you. At one time I also had some hens and grow outs. But the juveniles were killed by a predator and the best hen died from what I assume was grief 2 days after we lost the rooster. She hadn't been sick, she just gave up looking for him and layed down and died. I have one hen left, she follows me everywhere and sits in the garage waiting on me when I'm inside instead of being with the other chickens. I hope to get more of them next year when we build a new barn. The rooster was very much like a dog in that he would follow simple commands like "go away" "drop it"(to release a bird he was fighting) and came when called by name no matter where he was on the farm. You could look in his eyes and see his little brain trying to work out what you were saying when you talked to him. He was a fantastic animal who once saved a young cat by leaping up into the air at a diving hawk. All his flock had ran for cover and were safe, but the kitten layed out in the open and the rooster defended it. He is missed here very much. We have lost nearly half our flock to predators since his death@Elsveta641 can you share your thoughts on the Liege Fighter. It's one of the other breeds that caught my eye, but the O Shamo was just to hard to pass up. Do you have LF beside the roo you posted?

I had some crosses between the two breeds who would've been amazing if they'd lived. This was the LF rooster over a white Oshamo henWow man, thanks for sharing that, it's pretty awesome.
you have some pretty cool chickens bud. Just down right beautiful! If things don't work out with the O Shamos, I'll be looking in to the Liege Fighters instead for sure.
