Please pray for my dog :(

Hope the vet was able to help.

There are other things that could be the issue that can be fixed such as a an ingested foreign body, specially at 10 years old as small dogs live quite a bit longer than large dogs. I'm actually surprised the vet had you wait a day at all so I hope he/she is able to diagnosis quickly (lab and x-rays if necessary) and make your little fella better.

Please let us know how he does. I am sending good thoughts for him (and you).

My exact thoughts! Get him there ASAP! He needs the meds that will help stop the "cycle" of throwing up.

This si my thought too. I went through pancreatitus with a 3 lb 8 month old yorkie... she spent three days in the vet hospital and it saved her life. Another dog with this wasn't brought in for days and days, and we saw him in the hospital while we were there.... he didn't make it. I was told that while sometimes the cause is unknown, it is linked sometimes to ingestion of amounts of fat that they aren't used to. In the case of the other dog under care while we were for the same condition, he ate a bunch of offal from the on-farm slaughter of a steer.

They can pull through, but they need veterinary treatment!
