Victor is a girl, lol... When I first got "him" I was convinced ne was a boy. had a squeaky quack, larger than my female, mounted her and did the dominance thing... the "He" laid and egg. lol. Since he's never acted like a lady, he got to keep his name and his male pronouns... Now that "He's" had surgery to stop laying eggs, it's quite possible he could develop a curly tail feather and act more male. I guess the name confusion must have triggered it... We joke and call him our trans-gender duck​

Victor Update- they didn't take out the ovaries since the oviducts were diseased and stuck to other organs. I guess it's extremely dangerous at that point to remove them. so they left them in, and took out the bad parts. We're going to officially call victor a "He" from now on since Voc can no longer lay eggs. lol

Victor was resting tonight at the hospital but they thought it best we didn't go visit him, for fear he's get too excited or upset when we left. He was eating a little, which is a good sign. He'll probably have to stay again tomorrow night, so we're hoping to visit him tomorrow
