PLEASE READ! Pekin lost strength in foot!

After talking with my parents, they've told me I should wait longer, since it just occurred last week. I've dealt with a different pekin duck unable to walk before and time helped her get back on her feet. It turns out my parents will not be here for a few weeks soon (next week), so I'll have to hang on until they get back and stay around September 17 (and I pray that by then, this will be resolved nicely). I'll keep giving updates and will take notes for what to do in the meantime.

@Miss Lydia, today I found that the foot that is lame looks more swollen, especially at the top joint in her leg that separates her scaly skin to feathers. I'm unsure if it was there before or not because it takes a moment of investigating to tell...

@DwayneNLiz, I'm getting more concerned. I haven't spotted any change or improvement. Now, I'm really starting to question if she's broken her leg. Aside from the obvious, do you know the signs of a broken foot? What should I do if that's the case?

Not much to do in the case of a broken foot unless a vet sets it and whatnot
Can you use you hands/fingers and manually try to feel the bones/joints/ligaments etc

Or get it to a vet?
There are so many different things that could be happening that we may not be able to help with

Are You doing water therapy? Soaking in Epsom salts? What are you doing for it right now?

I've been giving her niacin in her water since it was recommended (two weeks ago?). I had felt her leg and noticed that the lame leg was more swollen than the other. I've been letting her swim for a good 30 minutes or so each day when she's outside.

@DwayneNLiz, she's stayed the same since the first day it occurred. I might be able to take her to the vets soon, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm really nervous about this... I want her to live, but my parents wouldn't pay a huge vet bill for a surgery or anything. When we had a swan break his leg, there wasn't anything we could do for him.
