If I take some of my chicks to a sell. Would they have crates there to put them in are to i need to get some.How about if i used card board boxes.Im sorry havn't been to one in close to 28yrs.Are could i put them in couple of dog cages and use there crates there.Thank for your help

Where I have been, people put the chicks in a box with a hole cut and chicken wire taped over the whole (In the side of the box) Filled with some wood shavings and the chicks!
This way you can view what is inside the box!
The breed was written on the box. It would be helpful to also put the hatch date!
I only saw cages for the adult birds!

from what i understand here at our local auctions you sell the cages with the birds so poeple make cheap cages for the birds cuz the buyer gets cage and all for the money. good luck and hope it works out.
