Sunday I had talked to Tanner (youngest son of the landlord). He is taking over. His brother who was suppose to be taking care of the place is moving out this weekend. And he did the bare minimum. Tanner has been doing major clean up. He is so frustrated by how bad things have been let go. How bad the rat situation was. Said there is at least 1 decomposing rat in the wall at the house. He is tearing plaster out where the smell is worse.
I made him a offer. Once he has the dead vermen out and the house aired out. I will help him give the place a good cleaning for a discount on the rent. Worst he could say was no. He liked that offer. Then he made me anot her offer. To come over once a week and clean all but the bedrooms (they would be responsible for them) and he would discount the rent(which is 465 including electric). I told him I could do that, just remember it takes me longer to do it, because I have to rest my back and leg. He said not a problem. Told him my brothers called me the clean freak (yes I am OCD), he said that's what I need a clean freak.
So I am waiting for him to let me know when the house is ready for cleaning.
Said he knew I was a clean person, because I keep our area cleaned up, and in the summer our area is neatly mowed, with different mowing patterns so there is no clipping build up, even use a bagger.
