Mine are 6 weeks old too. Below is a pic of one I think is a roo.

teeville- could you possible post a pic of your RIR so that we can compare them since they are the same age?
 
Not sure if yours is or not, but it looks like it could be a possibility.
So far as I've noticed, Red isn't very aggressive.

He's my only roo of 19 chicks so there's no chance of fighting, but he has broken up a squabble a two amongst the ladies.
