Okay, next time Arkansas has a drought I think you and I need to get together, pop in a DVD of Homeward Bound or maybe Old Yellar and we could solve the water shortage in two hours flat!

OH MY I do believe you are right!!! I am so predictably female sometimes...I used to hate it. I have learned to embrace it, now.

Oh, and my cat Lucy (affectionately known as Lucifer...poor baby) wants me to tell you that you have impeccable taste in kitty cats!!!! LOL (isn't this an awful, evil looking pic of her).

Thanks Princess. I keep looking at the pic of Charlie and thinking what a lucky person I was to be loved by her even for just the 10 years I had her.

Yes, it appears you would make a perfect interpreter!!! LOL

What kind of dog was Charlie? She was an amazingly sweet looking and pretty girl. I know I have read your threads on her but I think this is the first pic I have seen of her. She was so very loved, you were both lucky to have each other.

We never found out what breed(s) of dog Charlie was made up of, although I always talked about having her DNA tested. The shelter I got her from (really a high kill dog pound) said she had irish wolfhound in her. Later Charlie and I met an elderly lady at the pet store that used to breed irish wolfhounds and she said Charlie definitely had some in her.
Many years later when I started researching breeds I got the idea that she had some great pyrenees in her. So loving, so smart and so very obedient. She helped raise every orphan animal I brought in. She'd go nuts if she heard crying baby animals on TV and would search the house for them.
Whatever the mixture was, it was a perfect one. We know one thing for sure. Her heart was solid gold.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about her. It still hurts so much, but talking helps.

Congratulations to you and Kiki - she is so pretty! Cats were once revered as gods in ancient Egypt - and they don't let us forget it with their cattitudes! Charlie Girl was a beautiful girl! I love how her front paws are crossed - almost like a pose for the pic you took!

I started not to ask because I know it is so painful....but then I felt like, from your other posts, that you DID want to talk about her. But you know, you can talk about her on here anytime and there will be plenty of people glad to listen.

She sounds like an absolutely amazing little lady.
