PLEASE Sex Determination Needed on 6 Buff Orp Chicks - PICS

Their combs and waddles are bigger then 5 of my 16-week old buff orp hens. Look like all boys to me

#2 might be a hen. It would help if I could see the tails of all of them -- see how #1 looks like the beginnings of a rooster tail, but #2's is a bit smaller?

I have the same age Buff Orps and my roosters are noticeably different in behavior. The girls just walk around, a bit shy. The boys are totally aggressive even though they're tiny. They walk right up to the cat and stare her in the face. They challenge each other. They are bold bold bold. The girls would never do those things. But you might not have any comparison if none of your's are girls.

Chickenannie, What should I be looking for in the tails? They all matured differently, and they are all different weights too.

I defintely do not have any "shy" ones, and they are constantly play-fighting.

I SO feel for ya.. this happened to me YESTERDAY basically... when the BYC'ers told me all 7 of mine were Roos too..
you Do have quite a variety of sizes there.. perhaps they are days apart in age or something..

I'm new too.. but they look a lot like mine in the comb/wattle dept... and as I said.. I was informed they are all boys too..

See pics in my thread here just yesterday in the 6 weeks old are they "normal" thread

The constant fighting is a roo sign. Hens don't do that generally.

The tails in my roos show up faster and are bigger and longer, with longer tail feathers. The hens have little stubby tails with short feathers that are sort of more aligned with their body (not as upright). See how your picture #4 and 6 have long tail feathers? But #2 is a tiny stubby tail...
