Sit tight. How old are they? I have been told numerous tmes boys were girls or vica versa when they are younger than 4 months or so.......and often it has been incorrect.:<)

I have a whe one looks like a cockeral (and your second picture) and is laying eggs so ANYthing can happen. it's 2 nest mates have big puffy top hats and look like hens. go figure.......

I think that they both look like cockerals, although it would be better if there was a different side view of #2. The way the crest looks more "swept back" make me think so. I don't think that I've had any pullets that look like that, and I have raised quite a few Silkie babies.
