And now I know, the bird that has been giving me the evil eye is the rooster.(Pale comb, small, almost unnoticable.) But now he has a name, 'stink eye pete.' He as always made me a tad uncomfortable, the way he glares at me...AND...the one I always suspected to be the male, the one with the big rooster comb is sqatting in the nesting pan. It is all so confusing!
Speckled hen, I love the way you did the nest boxes! I've got some of that egding, and it isn't as hard as a 1x4. There was a reason we saved it for 12 years when it was too small to use for anything else, and that's it.
