I agree with that. This poster was probably upset when they posted this tread and came to us to vent. We should take that into consideration. I hope it works out for everybody. I still want to know how they are raising chickens in an apartment.

She was totally venting. And we should all be able to do that from time to time without starting a major debate about childrens behavior. Yes they cry and yes it can be annoying. Probably more annoying when they are slamming doors all over the place too.

I live in a house on a dead end street and have had to chase kids down at one o'clock in the morning to tell them to turn down their boom boom box ~ I shouldn't have to accept this reality.

Uhh, ok. Did someone say you should accept that reality. Actually though, that is reality. Those kids, teens I'm assuming, are really doing that so it is reality. How you respond is your choice and has nothing to do with this thread.

At all hours of the night he is stomping around, banging drawers shut, slamming cabinet doors...it's ridiculous.

Probably from lack of sleep.

Me too and me too.

I don't miss apartment living at all...

I had neighbors that would be up all night screaming at eachother. I worked nights so no big deal. I just made it a point to vacuum at 2 or 3 in the morning

When I lived in a complex I had the person below me complain that I was walking during the day. That day I started wearing boots in the house.
