yup i have raised several dozen clutches with my grams and 3 solo plus this first round of ducklings and we have only had 3 baby's drown all chicks from the same hen. But my grams always says to put marbles or small peices of wood so they can only get their little faces in the water.Ive raised many baby ducks and I have NEVER had one drown in one of those dishes.. I've never raised turkeys and never will, first time raising chicks and they seem to dip their beak long enough to take a sip and they are on their way.
I guess you learn something new everyday..
