our first baby emu just hatched from the incubator...and i had the same fears and questions as you..but he's soo sweet and needy of me, that you just can't help but love him...and to see that big green egg rocking was amazing before hatching..check out you tube.com type in emu hatching, and baby emu running, etc. you'll learn all you need, and deffinately want one after you see the video of the running soo fast around the back yard...

Well, I decided I'll try a couple emus, are males or females more docile?

Males seem more docile from my experience, but the more time you spend with either the better they will be.


I need two female chicks if anyone hatches any........
