I may be selling her over 4th of July but I want to be sure SHE is a SHE not a HE. I don't want to sell someone something that may be a roo. Thanks for any info! If someone has a 5 1/2 week or 6 week old pullet or roo Wyandotte can you please share your pics with me. Thank you! Her/his comb is very red...redder then this picture shows really. None of my other birds have red combs yet.

Its hard to say for sure , but it looks like a pullet to me.
If you were closer I would take her.

I'd say roo from the amount of red in the comb at that age and the feathering is more "streaky" on the back than pullets usually are.

Just an update...SHE is now 19 weeks old and "the boss" of the house. So those who guessed pullet were right.

Here she is...top left. BTW, they hated the roosts like that so I took everyone advice and turned them, they LOVE that.

I too got two pullets at 7 weeks that were from Murray, a SLW & an EE. Both were and are very red even at that age, I was worried that my SLW was a roo but she is feathering out like a girl now at 11 1/2 weeks. What would cause these hatchery girls to be so red so early?
