Please...tell me it`s an insane idea....

I now have 4 (four) heat lamps and brooder bins in my small bathroom. It's lovely toasty warm in there!

Two Octagon 20 units are hatching; now have 11 chicks in the fourth brooder. More to hatch, still.

You may be insane, all right, but I'm more so.

Nice warm bathroom in Winter, adorable fuzz-butts peeping and cheeping, and new eggs in Summer instead of late Fall.

What could be better?

No, no don't do it! Don't come to your senses, it's no fun, trust me, I've tried it a couple of times. The eggs are the best choice and way more fun than coming to our senses.

I'm a certifiable hatch-a-holic and I say....LET THE HATCHING BEGIN!!!

It's so much fun and you'll have fresh layers in Summer when everyone else is not getting anything till fall!

Well, so, hubs is infected too..............IT'S TOO LATE!! Get those eggs before you see the detrimental effects of NOT getting eggs.
You don't want to disappoint your DH do you?

All our roos are now nicely settled into their bunks at freezer camp. The multi-age girls are bonded and producing lovely eggs. All is peaceful and serene in the coop....

Another reason to set eggs RIGHT NOW. Another week or so and your hens won't be fertile anymore..............
