Hmmm, I'm not an expert obviously, but I still don't see big signs of it being a boy. My one tiny girl has big back feathers that seem pointy but they're very wide...saddle feathers are super thin and there should be some by now I would think. Plus I would think the comb would be far more red by now, and usually the 3 rows of the pea comb are all equally evident whereas yours looks to have a main column but the two side ones are less noticeable. Perhaps some of the others see something I don't??

@TheOddOneOut, @ColtHandorf, @LadiesAndJane, @Overo Mare, @cherrynberry? :)

How old is s/he? Can we see the comb a bit better? Looks about the same age as mine and I’m about 95% certain they’re pullets. Yes, the lavenders can get the shredded feathers, but also they just seem to be more fragile and break easily. I’m gonna say pullet, but it depends on age :)
I now think this bird and the OP's are cockerels 😳

All I see is a shredded mess. Sexing lavs by saddles is so hard.

I would expect that comb to be more red for a cockerel at this age. I'm on the fence.
I know it’s very hard and I want very badly for them to be girls but the shredded feathering makes me crazy!! I have pulled up the back feathers to look for and they are broad but seem pointy but some of the feathers are sooo thin they are only visible in the sun that would round the feathers like a pullet. Blah! The hackles seem round too sighhh!
