I want more chicks. Right now.

But I know darn well that I've nowhere to house them or money to pay to build additional housing (and for that matter, who wants to be outside in the mud and cold building a chicken house in December anyway?!) So help me stay out of trouble.

...

Oh who am I kidding, you all are going to tell me to give in to my impulses XD

OK, behave yourself. Let me know if it works

I want more too but I'm gonna wait untill spring when they are at the feed store.

That's my plan anyway!

I'm not.

It's altogether the wrong time of the year for this. Think of the chicks.

I agree. Behave yourself and wait until spring. The chicks will be much easier to care for. No keeping them in the house thru a long cold winter. Besides, if you plan to buy from a hatchery the selection will be much better come spring.

I'm in the same boat. My husband won't allow them in the house, and I don't have an area suitable for them to grow out all winter.

I'm eager to hatch again, even have my eggs lined up already. Now I'm just killing time til spring. (And the cheap egg prices right now aren't helping any)

i am in the same boat.... I want more chicks... i am trying to be good and wait until next spring..

I promise not to let them watch any violent movies

I likewise would like to double my flock size and am thinking of picking a more specialized breed to go with....that being said I must wait till spring as the chicks health and winter coming with not enough time to build another coop. So if I must wait, I think you should too. LOL
