Please tell me what kind of rooster and hens I have. That's all I know is that one's a rooster and two are hens. A neighbor and friend gave me the rooster yesterday and another neighbor and friend had given me the two hens about a week ago when hubby finished the coop and run. The rooster is about a year old. I've named him Foghorn (he hasn't even crowed yet). Daughter wanted to name him Alfredo. The hens are (buff) Annie and (black) Curly, named by our grandson who named them in memory of two dogs we all loved and who had died.
P.S. The black hen lays white eggs and the buff hen lays light tan eggs.

No, she is not less than 6 months old. She has a very small comb, smaller than the buff-colored hen's comb.

Thank you, CC and Chicky! CC, can an australorp lay a white egg?

Does the black one have large white earlobes if it does it is a black spanish Hen.

They appear to be "backyard mixes".. most likely a result of several mixed breeds. At first glance, the rooster looked like a red sex link but he kind of looks smallish so maybe also a mix of several things. I would not be surprised if the hens were an Old English mix.
