This is a staggered hatch over 3 days. Before I moved her my other two kept adding to the nest..

I'm going to start up my incubator just in case she decides to leave the nest to care for these first hatchlings. Then I'll pop them back under her..

I marked Cottons original eggs (3), just for that reason, so I could take the others out. Lol. setting up the incubator is a good idea

I definitely knew better but I moved her to a crate in the Coop so I thought the other two would still use the nest box..NOPE they followed her in and deposited more eggs.
Crazy but everything is working out. I just have to remain smarter than the Chickens...

I tagged you into my thread so please come see my Chicks ..I removed the last 3 egg although have 2 in my incubator because she needs to feed these ones she has. She has 4 and will have 6 if they hatch out well. I'm not worried though at this point..One is a cross egg from my tiny Bantam too....
