I love my neighborhood too, to bad my SIL, live across the street, and my step mother down the road, they hate me! I have no idea why, it all started after my Dad died
We get along with everyone else, and the neighbors and I have been banding together to help each other out!
We give away eggs and have turned them all on to the Muscovy duck meat, and we help each other chop trees down and split the wood!
Then when we get bored we take turns having camp fires.
We have even camped together!
We have talked about how things are going, and plan to stick together if things get bad.
We may need to barter for things we need, so being friendly with the neighbors helps!
