I live in. Virginia, been obsessed with Sumatras for decades now. Used to own a bunch when I was younger. Won a few … ? Best of Breed or something along those lines as best entry that was true to form and description with a Sumatra hen. Couple of poultry judging wins in FFA or 4H.

Then went to collage for far too long. Used to be global lead corn breeder for company working in USA, Chile, Brazil, France, Hungary, Spain, and Japan.

Just expanded my parents farm by 25 acres in Virginia and picking up a hobby that I already know I love

Currently have 22 black Sumatras and 4 splash that I allow to run wild (they still are creeps and follow me everywhere) on a mostly wooded 100 acre plot of land.
