Thanks for all of the great advice from everyone. I did separate the two chicks. Pennelope, the healthy chick, is not happy at all about being alone. She wants me to just sit and let her sleep on my neck. I can not however talk my husband into letting a chicklet sleep in our bed so I will have to put her in the carrier by herself. I hope that she will be ok. Dottie, the chick with wry neck, is sleeping soundly and seems a little relieved to be alone. Any suggestions on what I can do to make Pennelope happier with being alone or am I overthinking this? Also, getting a chick to open its beak for some drops of vitamin is a little more challenging than I thought it would be. Any tips on how to gently open her beak?
