Plucked feathers on neck

That's not humane!!

If you are having issues with pecking, you need to fix the issue NOT disfigure these poor chicken. How much space do you have for your birds?

I’m not op but yeah, hens will cannibalize each other out of boredom, lack of space/food or cause some hens are really monsters. But they’re usually not monsters.
 
i didnt clip them, they came that way. the place i bought them said that chickens that were raised for commercial purposes have their beaks clipped so they cant peck each other
 
i have 3 chickens and lots of space, food and water, so that shouldnt be the problem. i give them fresh water and a snack of meal worms every day as well as clean the coop. In addition to the coop, they have a large fenced-in area to roam around, so i am not mistreating my chickens.

Why do you clip their beaks? I've never heard of this.

Im stumped. Ive never seen that kind of pattern of baldness on a chicken. Hopfully someone will have an idea.
