Plumage molt

If she is charging you or attacking then yes. I have never had a female act hateful except when broody. But if she is your only duck and you raised her inside then she isn't sure she is a duck. I did the same with a Muscovy duckling whose mama rejected him. I didn't know at the time it was a drake, he was the sweetest little thing till around 4 months old then he began jumping on my leg or my back when I'd turn around to walk away. I had people say to butcher him but many more helped me by telling me to be dominant over him. Being dominant doesn't mean we are hurting them we are just letting them know we aren't going to put up with their aggression. I have read members saying their Muscovy female got bity and moody once their hormones kicked in . So I'd say basically it's the same procedure with a female as a drake. Is she your only duck? Where ever she sleeps or sends the biggest part of her time give her a mirror so she can see herself. Make it so she can't knock it over on herself. But maybe this will help if she has another duck to relate too.

Yes! She/he is my only duck, I also have mirror for her/him, but certainly, I would not be able to kill her, so I will have patience

You won’t be sorry if you stick with it. This drake I was talking about is going to be 9 yrs old this coming June and he is still my best boy. Once in a while I have to remind him to behave himself but we have an awesome relationship. So hang in there.
