Plymoth rock crossing

I've had chickens for 2 years. I recently moved my girls 9 hours from Montana to Wyoming. Picture 1 human, 4 chickens, 2 rabbits, and 2 cats all in the front of a uhaul. We were all glad to be done with the drive!

I have 5 chickens. My original 4 are 4H dropouts. I just rescued another chicken from the county animal shelter. She was picked up in a local park and no one claimed her.

My ladies are Plymouth rocks, 2 sapphire gems and 3 barred.

I love that the chickens get me outside every day. Even though I might not be excited to bundle up when it's below zero Fahrenheit, I'm always glad I got out and heard the latest gossip.

I am learning carpentry. I also knit, garden, and read. I do my best to run too.
Welcome to BYC! Life is an exciting adventure with so many great things to do!

Hi! That sounds like an adventure! I'm glad you all made it to Wyoming safely! I like all your hobbies as well, plus the chicken-chatter is best not to be missed!--I've found many a hidden nest keeping up with their convos!

I hope you will definitely not miss an opportunity to ask questions or join in around here. I hope you and your cats, rabbits and chickens are doing well!

Thanks for joining and welcome to BackYard Chickens!
