Plymouth barred rock has LARGE comb, wattles and is LOUD. HELP!!!!!!

Have three "hens". Purchased from feed store as pullets back in March. Of the two BR's, one has always had a pale comb, the other has always been a red. All of a sudden the red comb has grown SIGNIFICANTLY, along with "her" voice. Haven not caught a crow yet, but works itself up to long whines. Cute little chicken chatter and then long whines. Both BR's look identical to my untrained eye other than the combs. Their feathering and feet need expert eyes! PLEASE HELP!! "She" is my favorite out of my tiny flock, I'd really like for her to stay

and just be described as a faster maturing...bossy...loud...egg producer. Thank you in advance!!

I believe it is just a more rapidly developing pullet.

Thank you! She's got the best inquisitive personality. I hope you're right and she stays! Any ideas why the other BR has always had a pale comb?

just a pullet coming into lay.

Pullet combs, single comb birds, don't turn red until point of lay. One is fast maturing.

When pullets are about to lay, they develop large, red, combs and wattles. It's normal.
