Yes, it surely is. And in about two to three weeks, I bet this lovely lady will know exactly what her BR chicks are. Doesn't usually take long for those pink combs to pop up. I thought Lizzie was a cockerel for awhile, remember? Good quality BRs are just harder to sex immediately.
Feather sexing only works if there bred to be.There is a method of sexing by wing feathers. They be to old for that but you can google it. I found it really accurate the times i have used it

In order to feather sex chicks the sire of chicks has to be fast feathering and the dam of the chicks has to be slow feathering.
