Plymouth rock egg laying

I just got two new Plymouth rocks one just started to lay. the egg size was 40 grams, my question is will they lay larger egg when they get more mature?

Yes! Pullets will lay small eggs at first and it will take some time for them to get larger. Barred Rocks are known to lay medium to large eggs once they are fully mature.

They should start with small eggs, then medium and large eggs like WingItRanch said.
