Plymouth Rock thread!

DMRippy, 1 roo and 1 pullet.

My 1st rooster started crowing at 11 weeks. He has been crowing a week now. It is a full crow. It is just not the loudest of crows right now. Only the 1 is crowing.

The roo is crowing, and I have him with some hens so he can practice. That was my thought too, but I am just not sure. She is very docile. That would be cool too.... I wanted 2 roos so I could have a back up, but a pullet is good, now I can use her too

Thanks!

Both are boys. Second one seems to have health problems. Deworming is smart move. Give him vitamins and good food now (egg and white cheese, yogurt)

Gave him worm meds on 2 mealworms.... Irony.... and cut some grass mixed in more mealworms, yogurt, vitamins and grit.... he/she ate all the mealworms....left the grass

I can scramble some eggs in the morning for him/her.... ACV in water with some oxine too. I am just on the rail.... I have always thought they were both boys, till the other took off in size.

What you mean "on 2 mealworms"-are you sure you gave him right dosage? Normaly worm medicine is given in water in certen proportion.
