Plymouth Rock thread!

I haven't done this for a while......but here are some pictures of my young flock....I have eleven pullets....10 are 10wks old and the other is 16 wks old.....The rooster is 16 wks old as well......one of the questions I have is what breed is mixed in with my oldest pullet.....my younger ones are BR's, but the oldest girl has something mixed in with her and I have no idea what? I rescued the two older ones about 2 months ago......Thanks for your input...

Post pictures of the Choc. Rocks when they hatch!

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie, my daughter convinced me to get chicks 2 weeks ago so we now have 2 barred plymouth rocks, 2 black sex links, and 2 red sex links. The plymouth rocks are by far my favorite. The other 4 chicks have never really calmed down so the plymouth rocks are the friendliest. Here is a bad phone picture of our chicks since my camera is dead. One is right behind the treat bar and the other is the tallest one on the small roost I gave them. I discovered yesterday that they were starting to get their stripes

so cute. I'm unsure of their age, I bought them from out local farm store and forgot to ask. I've done a little online research and I think they are around 2.5 weeks (I've had them for exactly 2 weeks now). They are pullets and I'm hoping and praying that they are all hens. I'll rehome any roosters because my daughter is scared of them and I just want eggs to eat, I certainly do not plan on ever raising chicks from eggs.

I'm hoping that my daughter will be able to show the plymouth rocks when she does 4H.
