Cuties! I want mooooooooooore!! (Loving those Silver penciled Plymouth rocks and your 2 CCCCCCCChickens. The roo is lovely and hilarious for photo bombing.)

My goobers... (no longer have the roos.. I would have kept every one if I could.)
Timmy... my gardening buddy keeping watch as I repotted plants.

Fluffy Ava.. will get this close and give you this look if you dare eat a bagel w/ creamcheese outside on the bench.

Hellllllooooooo in there....

BUSTED! We thought the straw bale would be safe for a few minutes on the porch while we cleaned the coop.

Begging at the kitchen window for treats...

Thank you Dreyadin for the good words on my Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks. Your Barred Plymouth Rock looks very nice, healthy and happy. I think all chickens should be as happy as your pullet. I think you have got her a little spoiled. LOL :)

My 4 barred girls are spoiled.. a little bossy.. but not bad. (That was their baby pics.. unfortunately the roosters loved them the most. My barred roo Timmy was very well behaved and sweet... but HUGE. Talk about late bloomers.. )

Just 1 roo now (not a BR.) They're 2.5 years old and not once did they go broody.

I'm curious to know if you guys sell fertile eggs from the penciled and the whites?

I dont sell eggs. I just got the pair within the last month, the cockerel a month ago and the pullet today. i would eventually like to though. I do know Weaversrocks on here sells white rock hatching eggs and don't know if he still has chicks but he did.

All I have is the two 7 month old Dick Horstman line SPPR pullets that are laying right now. I also have 7 Danny Padgett line SPPR pullets that are little over 2 months old. I would feel much better in sending you eggs from hens. Come next year if you are still interested in some Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock hatching eggs I will definitely get some sent to you. :)

It won't be until late spring or into summer. Our coop is 8x12 and insulated- but way too cold here for little ones.

I have to time it to avoid the buffalo gnats too. The gnats get so bad here for a few weeks that they can kill chicks. The coop has screens and we have shade cloth up like a mini tent and a box fan.. it makes a bug free hang out for the chickens in the grass.

... I might be a tad overprotective...
