Plymouth Rock thread!

How will joining this club help me preserve the Plymouth Rock Breed.  Seems to me is not endangered.   Now the Delaware breed is one I rarely see at our shows here in Syracuse, NY.

Hi rancher hicks
If you feel the Delawares need your support more than the Plymouth Rocks do, you should definitely join their club to support that breed. If you are already a member of the Delaware Club very good I am proud of you for supporting a rare breed. But this being the Plymouth Rock Thread and me being a Plymouth Rock breeder I choose to support the "Plymouth Rock Breed". :)

Thank you Clayton Grace "Silver Rock"

thanks for the info Clayton I was planning to join this club and support the breed . but being selfish I also want the information and help from the newsletter and all the breeders it gives you instant access to. like some of the great people on here who have helped me with a lot of information that would have cost a lot to obtain without them in money and time. thanks to the experts and newbies who share some really great info on this site.

Please don't misunderstand, I have Rocks, both Barred and Columbian. They are favorites of mine along with the Delaware. I did join a Delaware club and paid my dues but got nothing in return.

So my question was a serious one. What will be my return for my $20 ?

On becoming a member of the Plymouth Rock Fanciers Club of America you will receive a news letter on a quarterly basis and like the post said above you get instant access to many great Plymouth Rock breeders. In my opinion that along is well worth the $20.00.

My need pens with the blue and black rocks are laying pretty well. Going to start setting them. The only other too they were with was a WL so I should know right off if they are pure.......

Friday I am getting 2 2 year old white rock hens. And maybe a younger pullet or two. I didn't see pictures of the younger ones, but did of the two year olds and they look great in the pictures. I get to chose from 5 for the two year olds and around 20 for the younger pullets. I hope the 2 year olds are still laying decent, because I wouldnt mind hatching some eggs from them with my white rock rooster I got a little while ago.
